We are hosted by Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, although we work with every NHS trust in south London as well as every clinical commissioning group in the region.
Our aim is that clinical research occupies the place it deserves to in the day-to-day work of the NHS. This includes NHS trusts, primary care organisations and other qualified providers of NHS services, social care and where ever there are healthcare needs. The principles of the NIHR along with the core values of our partner organisations runs through everything we do.
We are passionate about the contribution that clinical research can make to patient care and disease prevention. We work collaboratively with NHS providers, social care and public health to translate that passion into the effective delivery of studies across south London. Our Research Delivery Managers (RDMs) work to support a diverse research study portfolio.
The CRN South London also supports the Government’s strategy for UK life sciences by improving the environment for commercial contract clinical research in the NHS and social care in the region.
The CRN South London provides the practical support that researchers in south London need to carry out high quality clinical and other health-related research studies in the NHS for the benefit of our local patient population.
