The CRN NENC has delivered a survey for research participants to complete since 2016. It is a requirement of the CRN Coordinating Centre (CRN CC) to analyse participant experiences within research. The CRN puts the participant at the heart of everything it does, and the PRES is a way of reinforcing the value we attach to the people that take part in research.
Following a successful pilot phase throughout the summer, the scheme will be rolled out across the region within each of the network's partner organisations.
This will help the CRN to collect more real-time data, and this will be enable us to provide faster and more targeted feedback across the region.
Shown above is a short video for staff, outlining the purpose and steps of how to use the survey, and further staff resources can be found on our intranet by clicking here.
NIHR Clinical Research Network North East and North Cumbria provide the infrastructure that allows high-quality health and social research to take place across the region, so that patients and the public can benefit from better health and healthcare.
We help to increase the opportunities for patients and the public to take part in health research and ensure that studies are carried out efficiently. We are hosted by Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust
