NIHR learn

Our courses can be accessed via NIHR Learn, our Learning Management System. We offer a range of courses to develop your knowledge of clinical research and support you to do what you do best, including:

Good Clinical Practice (GCP) training

Our GCP workshops are designed to provide an introduction to Good Clinical Practice, the EU Directives, UK regulations and Research Governance Framework requirements covering clinical trials and other NIHR portfolio studies conducted within secondary care settings. We hold both full day Introduction to GCP workshops, and three hour refresher courses. 

Informed consent workshops

The NIHR CRN Yorkshire and Humber Introduction to Informed Consent workshop is designed for all staff wishing to gain a better understanding of the informed consent process required to enrol participants into a research project. It is also suitable for those working with participants engaged in research activity who may not be directly cared for in a clinic or hospital setting.
