    SURPASS EARLY

    Study date: 08 November 2022

    Status: Closed

This study has been designed to find out if the study medication, tirzepatide, can help patients with type 2 diabetes, when compared with other intensified standard treatments used when starting treatment early for type 2 diabetes. Harmonie

    Study date: 12 October 2022

    Status: Closed

RSV (respiratory syncytial virus) is a common seasonal virus that infects nearly all babies by their second birthday. Most of the time it causes a mild illness, like a cold. However, for some babies, it leads to more severe lung problems such as bronchiolitis and pneumonia. The HARMONIE study is looking at how strongly babies can be protected from serious illness due to RSV infection by giving them a single antibody dose.

    This study has now closed.

    GMRx2

    Study date: 27 September 2022

    Status: Closed

The purpose of this trial is to find out if the GMRx2 triple combination medication is equally or more effective and as safe in lowering high blood pressure compared with any combination of 2 of the active ingredients. We also want to find out if GMRx2 is effective at controlling high blood pressure without increasing side-effects. Adults aged 18 or older who are taking 3 or fewer blood pressure lowering drugs for their high blood pressure can take part.

    KARDIA 2

    Study date: 16 September 2022

    Status: Closed

KARDIA-2 is evaluating the safety of the investigational medication and if it may help lower blood pressure in participants with mild to moderate high blood pressure (hypertension) when given in combination with an approved blood pressure medication. The investigational medication is an RNA interference (RNAi) therapeutic given as an injection under the skin.

    SURPASS PEDS

    Study date: 01 September 2022

    Status: Closed

Patients with type 2 diabetes (T2D) have above normal levels of glucose (sugar) in their blood. T2D is primarily diagnosed in adults however, there has been a significant increase of T2D in children and teens in recent years. Unlike adults, the children and teen population with T2D have fewer glucose-lowering treatment options that are regulatory approved. This study is investigating if a new medicine, called tirzepatide, is safe and effective for people with T2D between the ages of 10 and 18 years.

    Glyconics

    Study date: 16 August 2022

    Status: Closed

The study seeks to determine whether a new method, called the Glyconics-SX system, can detect type 2 diabetes from the amount of glycated (sugar-coated) nail protein called keratin by shining a light into an individual's middle fingernail. This study is now looking for adults aged 18 or over, with and without type 2 diabetes to take part.

    AMGEN CVOT Trial

    Study date: 31 July 2022

    Status: Closed

The purpose of this study is to characterise the distribution of lipoprotein(a) (Lp(a)) levels among participants with a history of Atherosclerotic Cardiovascular Diseases (ASCVD) as defined by their medical history and is 2-fold:
    - Evaluate the distribution of Lp(a) value in the overall participants with a documented history of ASCVD
    - Evaluate the distribution of Lp(a) value in participants with a documented history of ASCVD by demographics and regions.

    HbA1c Variation Study

    Study date: 29 June 2022

    Status: Closed

HbA1c levels are commonly measured in people with diabetes as they reflect the amount of sugar in the blood. This study aims to help us understand the relationship between HbA1c and average glucose, in a wide range of people with type 1 and type 2 diabetes. It involves wearing glucose sensors and regular blood tests for six months.
