Welcome to Issue Two, the Autumn/Winter edition of our Coastal Connections magazine, bringing you lots of updates and research news from across the North West Coast region. Coastal Connections is all about celebrating and showcasing the great work our partners do across the region to improve research opportunities for our population. In this edition, we recognise some of those change makers, who are doing things differently to deliver a big impact. As our current research strategy draws to a close at the end of this year, we also wanted to highlight and thank our partners for the considerable improvement journey our region has been on to increase opportunities and access to research, particularly across broader health and care settings. A key focus of that strategy has been on taking research closer to the communities we serve. On that note, our research bus has arrived, Kitty!
