CRN Eastern gives practical support to NHS and social care researchers in Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk to enable more patients to take part in high quality research. Our team includes doctors, nurses, healthcare workers, researchers and support staff based at hospitals, GP practices, social care organisations and academic institutions.
We are passionate about the contribution that clinical research can make to patient care. Through working together we can translate this passion into the effective delivery of studies within the region.
In addition to providing funding to help NHS and social care organisations deliver research, we provide study support, such as helping with NIHR portfolio applications, staff training and development, patient and public involvement, data reporting, promoting your work locally and nationally, and many other aspects of research delivery.
