Audience

This session is aimed at Clinical Research Practitioners (CRPs) who aspire to join the Academy for Healthcare Science (AHCS) Accredited Register.

About

The session has been developed with CRP leaders at Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust and NIHR Clinical Research Network (CRN) South London. It is an in-person workshop where CRPs will be given background, advice, signposting and practical help required to apply to join the AHCS CRP register.

What you will learn

You will discover what accredited professional registration with the Academy for Healthcare Science means and understand the eligibility criteria for registration, as well as the steps required to make an application. You will explore reflective practice in clinical research practitioner roles which will give you the tools you need to begin developing your own portfolio of evidence. You will have access to resources and a personal action planner to set your own objectives for career development as a CRP.
