Contents

Carol Simcock, of Cheshire, is taking part in dementia research. She has Alzheimer’s Disease.

She said: "I decided to take part in this dementia research because I knew that I had dementia so I thought if I could do something to help my children and future generations, then it’s obviously going to be beneficial, and make me feel good that I’ve tried to help future generations."

Carol’s husband, Bryan, supports his wife’s decision to take part in dementia research.

He said: "It offers many benefits, it explains lots of things to us and gives us an insight into many of the aspects of Alzheimer’s. It is so easy to join, we joined online. Quite simple; just a few clicks and the benefits are terrific because we’ve found out lots of things about the Alzheimer’s Society itself. Lots of the benefits, and many of the functions that are going on in your particular area."
