CRN South London's Alex Ignatian on workplace wellbeing

We spoke to our Study Support Service Team Lead, Alex Ignatian, about the importance of wellbeing in the workplace.

Why have you joined CRN South London's Wellbeing Panel?

As team leader of the Study Support Service (SSS), I have my own wellbeing to think about and the team’s. By joining the Wellbeing Panel, I can contribute to the group's discussions as a representative of the SSS team.

Why is wellbeing important to you, particularly in managing a team?

Wellbeing is a huge factor in happiness, enjoyment of work, and productivity. These are two main factors of my role when managing the team. All organisations should support staff wellbeing and continually bring in new ideas to increase wellbeing in the workplace.

What are you hoping to get from the Wellbeing Panel?

To contribute to the overall wellbeing of the Network and help to identify and alleviate any potential wellbeing issues.
