An exciting opportunity has arisen at Dorset Healthcare University NHS Foundation Trust for a Research Nurse / Practitioner to be a part of the Trust's R&D team The Trust's R&D function is growing and we are looking for an individual to contribute to this growth.

The post-holder will be required to work collaboratively with the research team and wider multi-disciplinary teams in the identification, set up delivery and close down of research studies in line with regulation and statute. This will involve the identification, recruitment, education and monitoring of participants in research along with the timely collation and documentation of accurate data.

The post requires excellent communication skills, an understanding of scientific protocols and the ability to work autonomously.

A mature attitude and ability to work autonomously, as well as part of a team are essential.

The post is full-time, 37.50 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
