Are you an innovative, creative, experienced healthcare professional? Are you passionate about research and how we might support more research into health services delivery? Do you have ideas about how to engage and support health professionals across the region to develop their skills and become more research active?
We are excited to announce a new position within the Clinical Research Network West of England (CRN WE), a Local Specialty Research Lead (LSRL) in Health Services research. Applications are now invited for this exciting new role to help lead the regional portfolio of Health Services Research studies, and to support study delivery in a variety of NHS and non-NHS settings. The role will require an excellent understanding of the issues facing health services research and the allied health professions, and a passion to work collaboratively to overcome barriers.
This role comes at an exciting time for Health Services Research within the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NIHR) and the Clinical Research Network West of England (CRN WE) as we have seen an increase in research activities within this setting. Health Services Research is extremely varied in scope, and we are working to ensure this area of research activity has the best possible support. The post holder will provide leadership for Health Services Research at a region wide level and promote engagement and subsequent delivery of studies. Alongside the Research Delivery Manager for Division 4, the post holder will work with key stakeholders in order to understand what research activity is in development and provide appropriate advice to ensure the CRN WE is able to provide optimal support for studies feeding into the NIHR portfolio pipeline.
This is an excellent opportunity to help shape how the CRN WE supports Health Services research and the growing number of researchers who are involved in it.
