Are you an innovative, creative, experienced healthcare professional working in genetics? Are you passionate about research and how we might support more to take place in genetics? Do you have ideas about how to engage and support colleagues to be more research active, with the aim to improve genetics research delivery?

We are excited to announce we are welcoming applications for a Local Specialty Research Lead (LSRL) in Genetics for the Clinical Research Network West of England (CRN WE). This important role will require a passion to support research, an excellent understanding of the challenges within this speciality, and to work collaboratively to overcome barriers.

The post holder will provide leadership for genetics research at a region wide level and promote engagement and subsequent delivery of research. With the Research Delivery Manager, the post holder will work with key stakeholders in order to understand what research activity is in development and provide appropriate advice to ensure the CRN WE is able to respond to and accommodate genetics studies feeding into the NIHR portfolio pipeline.

This is an excellent opportunity to help shape how the CRN WE supports genetics research and the growing number of research opportunities for this area.
