Winners announced at the North West London Clinical Research Awards 2021

The winners of this year's North West London Clinical Research Awards have been announced at a special online ceremony.

Staff from across the region joined the virtual event (on 11 November 2021) to cheer on colleagues shortlisted for an award.

In the first five categories, nominees had two minutes to pitch their work. Attendees could then decide the winners in each category by voting for their favourite.

The shortlist was decided by independent judges in an earlier process, based on poster-style submissions.

The winners of the sixth category - Rising Star - were decided purely by the judges. People could nominate their colleagues for this award by providing detailed reasons why they deserved to win.

This is the third year the NIHR Clinical Research Network North West London has held the awards. It's an opportunity to celebrate the great work taking place in the region.
