New version of EDGE to launch in January

EDGE3 is coming graphic blue and green

The next instance of the EDGE local portfolio management system is planned to go live on Monday 30 January 2023.

EDGE 3 comes with new functionality and a redesigned modern interface for ease of use. The upgrade is also necessary to introduce the software capability for future improvements.

All users will instantly switch to the new version on this date. Existing data will have been backed up but staff will be required to get used to the new system before the changeover date. 

Testing by CRN Wessex staff has been completed, and the system was found to be very user-friendly. Some of the improvements identified are listed below:

  • Previously confusing terminology has been renamed, e.g. ‘entities’ to ‘forms’
  • Drag and drop has been enabled for documents
  • Simple and attractive reporting has been built in as ‘KPIs’
  • The homepage can be rearranged, and sections that you don’t need removed.
