New Mental Health Network launches in Wessex

A new digital space has been set up for those working in mental health research in the Wessex region.

The need for a collaborative network was discussed at the ‘Future of Mental Health’ meeting in June 2021, which was well attended by mental health researchers from secondary and primary care sites, local organisations and universities, portfolio managers and support staff. A key discussion at the meeting was that attendees wanted a way to collaborate and link up with people of similar interests.

The platform has been created using NHS Networks, a tool which is available to all NHS staff. This platform encompasses a range of features such as forums, blogs, events and space for messaging.

Rebecca Croucher, Senior Research Delivery Manager at CRN Wessex, said: “It is fantastic to have launched this network and created a digital space for collaboration. I am looking forward to seeing what comes out of it and believe it could be a very powerful tool to drive discussion around mental health research in Wessex.”

Complete this Survey Monkey form if you wish to be a part of the network. Please note that in order to keep this network as relevant as possible, organisers ask that only Wessex-based researchers with an interest in Mental Health sign up.
