webinar series to promote clinical research practitioner role

This November staff working in research in health and social care settings are invited to a series of webinars to learn about the accredited Clinical Research Practitioner (CRP) role. 

Guests will learn about the CRP accreditation scheme, including how it can help to demonstrate key skills, support career development, and provide assurance to employers, patients, service users, carers and members of the public. The third webinar of the series has a special focus towards line managers on the benefits of accreditation for staff. 

CRP Series: Week one

Friday 4 November 2022 from 12:00-13:00

Hosted by Kelly Adams, NIHR Head of Research Workforce Development, this webinar will provide an overview of why the CRP accreditation was introduced and the national strategy, followed by a short Q&A session. 

CRP Series: Week two

Wednesday 9th November 2022 from 12:30-1:30

This webinar will include real life accounts from CRPs Ashlea Brooks and Matthew Morris about what it's like to go through the accreditation process. This will be followed by a short Q&A session.

CRP Series: Week three

Wednesday 16 November 2022 from 12:00-13:00

With a special focus towards line managers looking to support their team through the CRP accreditation process, this webinar will cover the necessary competencies, how to encourage staff to go through the process as well as some hints and tips. This discussion will be followed by a short Q&A session.

CRP Series: Week four

Wednesday 23 November 2022 from 12:00-13:00

In this final webinar, Kelly Adams, NIHR Head of Research Workforce Development, will provide a wrap up of the sessions from the series and a recap of the key points and information and there will be time for additional questions.

Guests can submit any questions they may have for our expert panels via the sign up form for each Eventbrite listing. Guests will also be able to ask their questions during the event using the Q&A or chat functions in Zoom.

The webinars will be hosted on video conferencing service, Zoom, which can be accessed through a computer browser or the Zoom app for devices.
