Inspirational teams and individuals celebrated at Pride of Portsmouth Awards

The outstanding achievements of teams and individuals across Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust were celebrated at the annual Pride of Portsmouth Awards ceremony.

A big congratulations to Alice Mortlock, Research and Quality Manager, at Portsmouth Hospitals NHS Trust, for winning the Chief Executive Award.

Alice was instrumental in the launch of the Portsmouth Technologies Trial Unit (PTTU) and her positive approach has played a role in Queen Alexandra Hospital being top of the leader board nationally for weighted recruitment into clinical trials.

Mark Cubbon, Chief Executive, said: “The Pride of Portsmouth Awards are a fantastic opportunity for us to recognise and celebrate the outstanding achievements of our colleagues and teams right across the organisation. The nominations and stories we heard at the awards were nothing short of inspirational.

“I am immensely proud of individuals, teams and volunteers right across the organisation and would like to congratulate everyone nominated for an award and all of our winners on their achievement.
