The National Institute for Health Research (NIHR) Clinical Research Network Kent, Surrey and Sussex (CRN KSS) Primary Care research team have launched a new website for primary care practices across the region. The website is a one stop shop for GPs, practice managers, administrators and others involved in delivering research within primary care.
The site has information about which studies people working within primary care can show an interest in running and what support is available from CRN KSS. The site also holds information about training opportunities and what funding is available.
Natalie Billington, CRN KSS Hub Manager says: “Until now CRN KSS has relied on emails to communicate with more than 500 GP sites across the network. However we acknowledged that email is not always the best form of communication and as a team we recognised the need for a centralised place to add information that sites may find useful.
“We hoped that by developing a website we could offer a central place for site staff to access the information they need at a time convenient to them. We very much hope that our new website will be helpful and informative for staff in primary care wanting to access information about taking part in research.”
