CRN Kent, Surrey and Sussex poster wins at UK Clinical Research Facility Network conference

CRN Kent, Surrey and Sussex’s Research Delivery Team’s poster won in the ‘Organisation or Administration’ category at this year's UK Clinical Research Facility Network conference.

The team submitted six posters which were all around the theme of what the team does to support the delivery of research in non-NHS and out-of-hospital settings across Kent, Surrey and Sussex. The winning poster was: ‘Equitable and transparent research delivery resources to conduct Health and Social Care research outside of hospital settings’.

Lead research nurse/AHP for CRN Kent, Surrey and Sussex Thanuja (Jay) Weerasinghe said: “We are very proud that one of our posters won. The whole team worked hard on their posters as we are passionate about spreading the word about the work of the team and how we support research in non-NHS and out-of-hospital settings."

The conference was hosted by NIHR Southampton Clinical Research Facility and held in Bournemouth. The theme of this year’s conference was ‘Collaborating for Success’.
