CRN Greater Manchester appoints new Chief Operating Officer

NIHR Clinical Research Network Greater Manchester (CRN GM) has appointed its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Sarah Fallon was appointed to the position on a permanent basis on 16 September 2020 following a competitive recruitment process.

She starts in the role with immediate effect, following the retirement of outgoing COO Debbie Vinsun on Thursday 17 September.

Sarah has been with CRN GM for almost 10 years, working previously as an Industry Facilitator, Industry Operations Manager and most recently Deputy COO.

Debbie Vinsun said: "I am so very pleased to be able to announce that Sarah has been appointed Chief Operating Officer for Greater Manchester CRN. More than ever it is important that there is solid, continuous leadership and no one can do this better than Sarah.

"If you [the Greater Manchester research community] give Sarah as much support as you have given me over the years then I have every confidence Manchester will continue to lead the rest of the country with its innovative and dedicated team.

"Please join me in congratulating Sarah as your new Chief Operating Officer."
