CRN East Midlands targeted funding application process now open
The CRN East Midlands is keen to ensure that research which is taking place in the region is helping to meet health needs of the population. It is important that research takes into account the profile of our population and the relative disease prevalence that we see here.
We have identified 2% of our funding to be used to target research in areas of high need. We would like to hear from researchers and organisations across the East Midlands who have ideas or approaches that fit this guidance.
This will be an application led process, continuing the approach that we used successfully in 2019/20. We know how important early agreement of funding is to future success, and we therefore encourage applications as soon as possible.
Where practical, we would like to receive applications by Friday 13 March; however, we will keep this funding call open past this time and until it has been fully utilised.
Prior to submission, please ensure that you have discussed this with a member of the CRN Management team, which comprises of one of the Clinical Directors, Clinical Divisional Leads, Chief Operating Officer/Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Research/Industry Delivery Managers, Research Operations Managers or, if relevant, the Senior Team Link for your organisation.
If you are unsure who to contact or have any questions, please contact Rachel Webb who will be able to assist with your enquiries.
