Celebrating research in London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex this International Clinical Trials Day

We want to thank each and every one of you who have taken part in research across London and Kent, Surrey and Sussex over the last two years. The research community owes you an enormous debt of gratitude.

Clinical research studies during the pandemic led to the rapid discovery of effective treatments and undoubtedly saved many people's lives from COVID-19. These successes would not have been possible without your support. Today is International Clinical Trials Day, which gives us a chance to reflect on the success of research during the pandemic both within the NHS and beyond. We strongly encourage others to take part in research by visiting Be Part of Research. We can build on the successes of COVID-19 research to develop better treatments for other conditions.

We want to thank everyone who makes research possible - we really couldn't do it without you!
