Bournemouth recruit two first UK patients

The Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust has achieved the recruitment of first UK patients for two cancer research studies. The first UK patients were recruited to studies exploring treatment for acute myeloid leukaemia (AML) and waldenstrom macroglobulinemia, a rare type of cancer that begins in the white blood cells.
