Health and Care Professionals

Research helps shape the NHS and social care of the future. Only though research can we find ways to improve prevention, diagnosis, care and treatments. It can also help people living with a condition have a better quality of life. The NIHR Clinical Research Network North West London supports health and social care professionals to get involved in research and help us lead the way.

We do this through:

• Offering training and development opportunities to those new to research and those early on in their careers.
• Helping you keep up-to-date with the latest developments in our region through our monthly e-newsletter.
• Providing you with leaflets, posters and other materials to help you explain and promote clinical research to your patients and service users.
• Supporting health and social care professionals to lead research in their field of interest, or those who want to become involved as co-applicants or principal investigators for a study.
