WessexPIN - Making Blood Taking Better

Join WessexPIN at their virtual coffee morning on 20 September, 10am. Dan Owens and Dave Rowe will be speaking about Making Blood Taking Better, introducing a project looking at new technology for measuring blood markers and medicine levels.

The project is a collaboration between Dan, who is a children’s doctor, and Dave, who is an engineer specialising in the use of light and electronics for sensing and measuring substances. The project is starting by looking at how this new technology could be of benefit to children who are on antibiotic treatment. However, the technology could be used by anyone taking medicines.
