Webinar: An introduction into knowledge mobilisation for researchers

Date: 20 January 2022
Time: 13:00 to 14:00
Location: Online

It can take years for research findings to be implemented into both clinical practice and policy. This leaves an uncomfortable truth for the health research community that patients and the public are not benefiting from the current evidence generated.

The field of knowledge mobilisation could help tackle this challenge. Knowledge mobilisation is about sharing knowledge between different communities to catalyse change, such as changes in practice/policy.

This one-hour webinar will be presented by Dr Helen Baxter and Professor Lindsay Bearne, Senior Research Fellows in Knowledge Mobilisation at the NIHR Centre for Engagement and Dissemination.

They will introduce you to the theory and practice of knowledge mobilisation, give illustrations of Knowledge Mobilisation approaches that have been applied to real world examples, and signpost you to a range of Knowledge Mobilisation resources.
