Patient and Public Involvement and Engagement shared learning event

Date: 23 March 2021
Time: 09:30 to 12:00

This event will provide a space for those working in patient and public involvement (staff and public) across Wessex* health and care research to come together to share successes, discuss challenges and network.

The event will be a combination of short presentations, question and answer sessions and small group discussions. It will include a workshop on equality, diversity and inclusion led by two public contributors, Tess McManus and Doreen Joseph.

We want to design the event around the needs of those attending. During registration you will be asked:

  • if you have any projects or experiences that you are happy to share the learnings of;
  • what challenges you currently facing

To register please follow this link. If you the registration form in an alternative format please email us at ContactWessexPin@nihr.ac.uk

Time: 9.30-12noon (calls open at 9:15 for prompt 9:30 start)

* The Wessex PIN is a network of staff and public working within NIHR. We are all committed to improving public involvement in research. We do this by sharing our knowledge and supporting and developing each other. We also work together on a number of patient and public involvement projects that wouldn’t be possible if we didn’t share the workload between us.

*Wessex covers Hampshire, Dorset, the Isle of Wight and South Wiltshire
