The NIHR Advanced Leadership Program alumni would like to give you the opportunity to access some of the knowledge we gained on this brilliant leadership course.

In this webinar we would like to connect you with the wonderful Stephen Lock. Stephen is Head of Business Intelligence in the CRN National Coordinating Centre (CRNCC) and has kindly agreed to revisit some of the knowledge that was taught on the Advanced Leadership Program. In this webinar, Stephen will explain in an engaging way the origin of the health care system we work in today (also known as systems thinking or Taylorism).

This information helps us understand the background to the system we currently operate within. He will also be presenting in an accessible way the difference between complex and complicated systems, which is key information we can easily apply to our everyday work when developing and improving systems and processes...and as a bonus (and back by popular demand!) Stephen will also be explaining BOFF, which is a tried and tested feedback model that can be used by leaders to communicate effectively with those around them.
