Funding model
CRN North Thames received total funding of £29m for 2020/21 (a reduction of 1.7% on 2019/20).
Our funding model for 2020/21 is based on the following:
- 80% based on 2019/20 allocation
- 20% performance-based
To protect research activity, we have introduced maximum decrease (collar) and a maximum increase (cap):
- Collar - 10%
- Cap - 20%
Performance measures and criteria
Performance is based on the cost of recruitment per patient over a three-year period at each partner organisation and Recruitment to Time and Target (RTT).
